Roles & Responsibilities
- Work with the Chief of Staff and team to use data to tell a story which initiates action; use storytelling techniques to convey business results in a simple and understandable manner
- Create presentations, reports, and other communication materials that effectively convey data-driven insights
- Leverage data visualization tools to deliver visual and impactful insights to decision makers, reducing time spent to interpret data; use data to tell a story
- Design, develop, deploy and evolve various internal dashboards, reports and analyses for operations and supporting departments.
- Develop data-driven insights that inform business strategies and decision-making, including quantifying the financial impact of specific operational metrics
- Translate data insights into persuasive narratives that are accessible to leadership and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling data stories that resonate with audiences and develop recommendations to stakeholders based on data insights
- Position data and develop business acumen. Identify what’s needed, what questions to ask, and what needs to be communicated to tell a story.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (expert level with Microsoft PowerPoint, PowerBI and Excel – including extensive experience with Power Query, PowerPivot, Pivot Tables and Excel functions is a must have)
- Excellent communication skills in English, and the ability to interface with senior level leaders in preparing reports and presentations
- Demonstrable problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to interpret data, build a story and tell the story effectively through data visualization and info graphics
